Do you sell crates?
Yes we do. Owing to our special relationship with the largest Crate Manufacturers in the UK we are able to offer new crates at attractive prices. On specific orders these can be supplied in a preferred colour, stamped with your company name telephone number or logo and can typically be supplied within 4 weeks.
I need to rent some crates. How much notice do you need?
We welcome 48 hours notice or more but are quite used to processing our clients instructions with one days notice. We can even process next day orders placed after office hours or same day emergency requests though these do attract an additional charge.
How much do they cost?
Northern Crates supply crates across the UK at the most competitive rates. The rates offered will relate to the quantity required and the period of rental. Visit our home page to select your required sector, either Commercial or Domestic and follow the easy steps to obtain a quote, place your order and complete payment.
How will I be invoiced, how should I pay?
Rental starts from the day of delivery. On-line payments will only generate an invoice if product exceeds the requested collection date. You will then be invoiced for rental after 2 weeks or earlier if you have returned some or all of the crates before then. Account clients will receive invoices after 2 weeks or earlier if product has been returned. We provide 14 days credit from date of invoice to all our clients. We will accept payment by cheque, credit card or BACS payment.
Will you move my crates with their contents to our new premises or to store?
We do not move crates that have contents in. We do however supply materials handling equipment and solutions. We work with some of the best Commercial Removal and Logistic Companies in the UK and would be happy to make a recommendation.
Alternatively we recommend you visit the British Association of Removers website at
